Facilitation

Drawing on my experiences as an actor, writer, and director, I regularly facilitate workshops for people of all ages.

I am the Lead Facilitator on Poole Lighthouse's Young Writers programme (7-18), in association with Artful Scribe. We organise weekly creative writing workshops and regularly take young people to see shows at Lighthouse, including 'Faith Healer'; 'Around the World in Eighty Days', and 'Delicate'.

I've worked as cover for MAST Mayflower Studios (11-18) and previously directed Freedom Academy's Young Actors Company (11-18). In 2021 I devised and led 'Our Tale', an online playwriting course for Activate Performing Arts.

I am DBS-checked and have a UK drivers' licence. My other experiences (over zoom and in-person) include:

Quentin Blake: Illustrating Fiction

Led five days of creative writing workshops for primary schools, inspired by the work of Quentin Blake and Roald Dahl.

Theatre-Making Summer School

Alongside Tabitha Hayward, I facilitated a week-long summer school for Taunton Brewhouse. We devised and stage short plays in response to 'Fort'.

What's Up With Shakespeare?

A one day workshop for young people, inspired by William Shakespeare. We demystified the Bard and adapted short scenes from 'Macbeth' to perform in front of friends and family.

Acting Up / Writing Out Loud

Half-day workshops to encourage children to develop their acting , writing, and teamwork skills. We created freeze frames, made short plays, and wrote in response to the Dorset countryside.
